Occupational Therapy (OT)

Our Occupational Therapy (OT) program helps students develop, improve, or regain the skills needed to participate in daily activities and achieve independence. OTs focus on a wide range of areas, including fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, activities of daily living (such as personal hygiene, eating, and dressing independently), and social skills. These skills are essential in advancing to adulthood and next steps after the leave Springbrook Schools.

Physical Therapy (PT)

Physical therapy (PT) focuses on improving the student’s physical function, movement, and overall well-being. PT helps students manage pain, increase mobility, and develop or improve motor skills. It also addresses secondary impairments, provides postural and respiratory support, and suggests modifications to the environment or assistive technology to enhance participation in daily activities and community life. 

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy focuses on improving communicaton skills that will engance the students educational experience and quality of life. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work with students to address a range of communication challenges, from basic articulation to complex language and social skills.
