Ambassadors and Advocates in Action
Sharon Larson, parent
“I had an incredible experience at Bobby Sharp at Glassworks, thanks to the wonderful guidance of Corrine. She was kind, patient, and ensured that David and I truly enjoyed the process while learning about the intricate tools used for molding glass. I can’t wait to share my artwork with friends and family, and I’m excited to return for more classes, especially in glass bird-making! A huge thank you to Springbrook for organizing this amazing event. Bobby is an incredible person, and I never imagined glassmaking could be so much fun!”
Purpose and Scope
The Parent and Family Engagement (PFN) Chapters comprise members who are dedicated and actively involved in advancing family engagement and community involvement practices at Springbrook and its partners. In early 2026, the first two chapters will commence in Binghamton and Oneonta, with expansion to other locations continuing annually. Chapters will meet on a bi-monthly basis to plan and participate in activities and events that foster opportunities that support a person’s sense of belonging and personal growth with their loved ones and community. Programs, activities, and events include but are not limited to: educational workshops, networking, family support groups, trips, and performances. The primary focus is on building strong connections between families and Springbrook and its partners and affiliates.
