Representatives from MOVE, which stands for Mobility Opportunities Via Education/Experience, shared their knowledge and experience of mobility equipment with Springbrook this week. Kids from The School at Springbrook, alongside physical therapists and teachers, participated to learn about and utilize the mobility equipment. This equipment is designed for people with limitations due to a physical disability to try new things and experience the world from a new point of view. Occupational Therapist Karen Sacco says, “MOVE allows people to reach their maximum potential because the goals are personalized it’s about the person and what they want to achieve.” Thank you to MOVE for sharing this opportunity with us!
