Recently, the Susquehanna Valley Quilters provided several handmade blankets to both the School at Springbrook and to the Kids Unlimited Preschool. The plush blankets are designed to provide warmth to the students during fire drills and other outdoor activities when the cooler months arrive.
The blankets are also warm, and the perfect size for the sleepy preschooler who may need an afternoon nap. Based in Oneonta, the Susquehanna Valley Quilters are an energetic group that meets monthly to share their knowledge and skills with each other.
