During this season of giving, it seems only right to highlight the work of Springbrook’s HELP Committee. This group of employee volunteers is funded through The Springbrook Foundation and exists to provide financial assistance to applicants in need. Every applicant must receive services from Springbrook (or its affiliates) and have a specific need that is not met through personal or other available resources. Funding is primarily awarded to individuals with emerging health and safety needs, but requests concerning individual activities, equipment, and holiday gifts are also considered. As of July 1, 2021, the Committee has awarded over $9,500 in grants to over 90 individuals in need! Although these thousands were disbursed through the HELP Committee, they were actually gifted by generous Springbrook donors. Giving—time, energy, or money—can truly make a difference.
