Springbrook offers comprehensive support through every stage of the employment process—from job exploration and placement to on-the-job coaching and long-term retention services. We proudly serve Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Onondaga, Otsego, Tioga, and Tompkins counties. Prevocational Services
Pre-Vocational Services helps people who are not yet ready for competitive employment to prepare for future job opportunities, developing the foundational skills and confidence needed for success in the workplace.
This is accomplished through personalized, goal-oriented support, including community-based experiences that promote independence and adaptability, and ongoing coaching to support growth in areas such as communication, teamwork, and responsibility.
Pathway to Employment
Pathway to Employment is a time-limited, goal-driven service that helps people explore and prepare for competitive employment in a career field that
aligns with their interests and abilities. People participating in the program engage in three distinct, community-based work experiences, gaining hands-on exposure to real job tasks while developing critical work skills and identifying the support they may need to succeed.
By the end of the program, each person receives a personalized Career Plan—a clear, actionable roadmap with tailored recommendations and next steps toward achieving meaningful, sustainable employment.
Supported Employment
Supported Employment is individualized job coaching to help people find, secure, and thrive in meaningful paid employment. Our team works
closely with each person to provide hands-on support throughout every phase of the employment journey, including:
- Exploring interests and identifying job opportunities
- Completing applications and preparing for interviews
- Navigating the hiring and onboarding process
- Building workplace skills and confidence
- Ongoing coaching to promote job stability, satisfaction, and growth
