Thanksgiving celebrations were in full swing at Springbrook this year! The School at Springbrook kicked things off with a delicious meal prepared by staff, bringing together students and staff to share in the joy of the season. The Family Engagement Center was filled with Thanksgiving spirit, featuring tables adorned with festive colors and holiday placemats ready for creative coloring.

This year’s celebration featured an impressive amount of food. The meal was prepared using 120 pounds of turkey, 12 pounds of cheese, 5 dozen eggs, and 32 cans of corn. Alongside these, 100 rolls were served, along with 102 cupcakes, 2 gallons of gravy, and 40 pounds of mashed potatoes. There was more than enough to go around, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the feast and share in the spirit of the season!

The Capstone Day Habilitation Program also hosted a Thanksgiving lunch, serving up all the traditional favorites. Each table was beautifully decorated, with placemats hand-painted by those at the program the day before. It was a day filled with good food, great company, and gratitude for all!
